Field at Viking Stadium Named After Coach Bob Lucey

On July 10, 2019, the UPSD School Board voted to memorialize the previously unnamed field in Viking Stadium after long-time coach, teacher and district advocate, Bob Lucey. We hope you will join us on October 25th at Viking Stadium for a naming ceremony and watch our Curtis Viking football team take on Puyallup. A pregame reception will begin at 5:30 PM in the gym with a short, official ceremony at halftime.

The proceeds from your donation will help purchase and install signage designating the Curtis High School "Viking" Stadium field as "Bob Lucey Field" and to promote Coach Lucey's legacy in University Place. Any proceeds we receive that exceed the actual cost of the signage will help to purchase equipment and facility improvements for our Athletic program.
